The Billing Assistant is responsible for accurately preparing invoices, maintaining organized billing records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial transparency and compliance with billing procedures. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to support efficient financial operations.

Description
Key responsibilities will include:
   »
Invoice Preparation: Generate and prepare accurate and timely invoices for client services, ensuring adherence to billing guidelines and fee arrangements.
   »
Recordkeeping and Filing: Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, following standard filing procedures to facilitate easy retrieval and reference for financial and auditing purposes.
   »
Financial Systems Management: Utilize a thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, actively participating in financial chart of accounts maintenance.
   »
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with legal and administrative teams to gather necessary billing information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure billing accuracy.
   »
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with corporate procedures related to billing and maintain meticulous documentation of billing activities, supporting financial transparency and audit readiness.
Profile
   »
Detail-Oriented: must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in handling billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoice preparation, and maintaining organized records.
   »
Financial Acumen: possess a solid understanding of accounts payable/general ledger systems, financial chart of accounts, and billing procedures, enabling effective management of financial data and contributing to compliance.
   »
Organizational Skills: strong organizational capabilities are essential for efficiently managing billing records, following filing procedures, and collaborating with diverse teams to gather necessary information.
   »
Results-Driven: A successful billing assistant should be result-oriented, focused on meeting deadlines, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the billing and financial operations within a private-practice setting.
   » Full fluency in English is compulsory; any other language will be considered an asset.
