Located in Luxembourg, we are a service company that hosts Europe's single leading trading platform( e-CAT) for cross-border transmission capacity. On behalf of TSOs, we auction the available long and short-term transmission capacity rights on all internal EU borders.
On the 1st of October 2018, JAO became the Single Allocation Platform (SAP) for all European Transmission System Operators (TSOs) that operate in accordance to EU legislation, since it is able to implement and fulfill all regulatory obligations and requirements. We provide accounting (clearing and settlement), contracting, reporting and project support services.
About the job:
We are seeking a Project Manager that will be reporting to the Projects Team Leader and under the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer.
The Project Manager will support the development of new services, improving of processes and the on boarding of new clients.They will will lead, coordinate, follow-up and report on ongoing projects in line with the services provided by JAO and may evolve accordingly. The projects are either related to market design/development, to the further development of our IT systems or the enlargement of our working area. The Project Manager will be the main point of contact for stakeholders in regards to new projects.
The role may imply regular traveling.

Key Activities in the position:
   » You will coordinate future business development including drafting of road maps and sequences ;
   » As main point of contact you will play an integral role in new business development and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients ;
   » You must coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
   » From the beginning you will assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility ;
   » Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, manage any changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques ;
   » You are capable to measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques ;
   » Identify and keep track of risks and possible mitigation measured ;
   » Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
 
We are looking for someone with the following skills set:
   » Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager or alternatively minimum 2 years’ Business Analyst experience and 2 years’ of Project Manager experience in IT projects ;
   » Experience in in the energy market is a plus ;
   » PMP / PRINCE II is a plus ;
   »  Has a good aptitude  to translate plans into actions and the ability to establish a coherent course of action to achieve goals ;
   » Being recognized for customer centric and commercial awareness, that make them able to build strong relationship with the stakeholders and internal or external partners ;
   »  Has strong organization skills and pay the utmost attention to details while they are multi-tasking  ;
   »  Is a good team member as well as an autonomous associate ;
   »  Is an analytical reasoner.
   »  Has strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
   »  Is flexible and adaptable and used to work and deal in a multicultural environment.
 
We offer
   » Salary paid on 13 months basis;
   » 31 days holidays per year;
   » Up to 40% of home office for Luxemburgish residents, 25% maximum for non residents;
   » 150 Euros per month towards transportation (Bus/Train) or full reimbursement of parking tickets outside the office;
   » 50 Euros per month towards sport;
