Description de emploiOur client, a global investment company based in Luxembourg, seeks an Assistant Vice-President for the Valuations team. You will be part of the team responsible for the valuation of investments, review of the NAV of the funds and working closely with finance teams globally.This role give you the opportunity to take on the overall coordination of the investment decision, investment monitoring and investment valuation process across private equity, private debt, private infrastructure and private real estate investments. They provide a well-structured and professional working environment with a commitment to excellence. You will have an autonomous role whilst being surrounded by supportive and team focused colleagues. Responsibilities include: » Provide investment valuation analysis at the fund level, for presentation to senior stakeholders, plus complete monthly/quarterly reporting requirements » Review valuation information provided by valuation teams in various locations and conduct regular meetings with these team. » Build a relationship with service providers that is partnership focused » Review the NAVs of the alternative investments funds » Assist with new fund onboarding » Collaborate with colleagues in various locations, whilst assisting with process enhancements relating to valuation of assets/funds and the NAV process » Prepare management information for board meetings Your skills for the job: » Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar » 7+ years relevant financial services experience » Big 4, audit background » Proven experience working with alternative funds, ideally real estate, private equity and hedge fund products » You will need to have strong technical accounting skills with exposure to IFRS » Exposure to and understanding of, investment valuation methodologies » Have analytical and quantitative skills » Be motivated and demonstrate your interest in the situation - you will be offered the chance to advance your career in a challenging role and at a top rated employer Apply now in English if you already work in Luxembourg and want to know more!
